Floyd’s 99 Barbershop Closes Permanently on Rockville Pike

Floyd’s 99 Barbershop has permanently closed its location at 1800 Rockville Pike in Rockville, according to an announcement on the company’s website, h/t @Pike.and.Rozay. The message reads:

THIS LOCATION IS PERMANENTLY CLOSED. YOU CAN STILL FIND MANY OF YOUR FAVORITE BARBERS & STYLISTS AT THE FLOYD’S GAITHERSBURG LOCATION. BOOK, WALK IN, OR CALL TO KEEP YOUR STYLE FRESH.

The Rockville barbershop opened in 2012, bringing the Denver-based chain’s signature mix of modern cuts, music, and pop-culture flair to Montgomery County. Known for its energetic atmosphere and diverse stylist team, Floyd’s 99 built a loyal following over the years for its blend of old-school service and edgy, rock-inspired style.

With the closure of the Rockville shop, Floyd’s 99 Barbershop in Downtown Crown (Gaithersburg) now remains the only location in Montgomery County. The Downtown Crown barbershop continues to offer the same full range of services, including men’s and women’s haircuts, fades, color, beard trims, and more.

Floyd’s 99 Barbershop was founded in 2001 in Denver, Colorado, and has since expanded to more than 100 locations nationwide.
