Below is an updated look at the latest retail and dining changes coming soon to Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda, including new restaurants, specialty shops, and brand relocations.
Andy’s Pizza – Andy’s Pizza, known for its award winning New York style pies featuring 72 hour cold fermented dough and a crisp yet chewy crust, will open on the dining terrace between Chipotle and Cava. This will be the brand’s second Bethesda location, with another planned for Gaithersburg’s Kentlands.
Arc’teryx – Arc’teryx, a premium outdoor apparel and gear brand specializing in technical climbing, mountaineering, skiing, and hiking equipment, is now open. The company is widely recognized for its high performance outerwear, including GORE TEX jackets and alpine ready packs.
Gold Bunny Donuts – Gold Bunny Donuts will open in the for Donut Chew space and offer specialty cream filled donuts including flavors such as Banana Custard, Earl Grey Cream, Matcha, Tiramisu Cream, Dirty Chocolate, and Biscoff topped varieties. The concept comes from Kokee Tea, which already operates a kiosk in the mall.
Hollister Co. – Hollister Co. is returning to Montgomery Mall after closing in 2016. The Abercrombie and Fitch owned lifestyle brand is known for Southern California inspired casual clothing for teens and young adults.
Immersa – Immersa is a new virtual reality entertainment destination that has soft opened and will fully open soon. The venue offers immersive 360 degree experiences including simulators, interactive adventures, and family friendly VR attractions.
Kami Ramen – Kami Ramen will open next to Cinnabon and offers traditional Japanese ramen bowls, sides, and beverages in a casual dining environment.
Maman Joon – Maman Joon will open in the former Brio’s Chicken and Tara Thai space. The restaurant will feature Persian inspired kabobs, stews, rice platters, sandwiches, soups, salads, and desserts.
Mavi – Mavi, an international denim and apparel brand founded in Istanbul in 1991, is known for its premium fabrics and sustainable All Blue production methods focused on reducing water and energy usage.
QToys – QToys, also known as 52TOYS, will open on the upper level next to Läderach Chocolatier. The brand offers collectible art toys, blind box figures, and designer character figurines for collectors.
See’s Candies – Seasonal retailer See’s Candies will return to the mall this month. See’s specializes in chocolates, truffles, fudge, brittle, toffee, and nuts.
Shiki Fusion – Shiki Fusion will blend Japanese technique with Thai flavors and will offer seafood focused dishes, sushi, noodle entrees, and fresh herbs and spices. The restaurant will be located above Nan Xiang Soup Dumplings across from AMC.
Warby Parker – Warby Parker is now open in the Nordstrom wing, offering prescription eyewear, sunglasses, and eye exams. The retailer already operates locations in Bethesda Row, Downtown Crown, and Pike and Rose.
Wetzel’s Pretzels – Wetzel’s Pretzels will open later this fall offering freshly baked pretzels, pretzel dogs, pizza bites, and lemonade. The chain is also opening a location at Westfield Wheaton.
Zara (Relocation and Expansion) – Zara will relocate to the upper level in the former Gap and Gap Kids space, allowing for a larger and updated store footprint to showcase its men’s, women’s, and children’s collections.
