California Fish Grill is set to officially open its first Maryland location this Monday, November 10th, right here in Montgomery County. The fast-casual seafood spot will open at 12238 Rockville Pike, in the shopping strip across from where TGI Friday’s once stood (video preview available below).
Ahead of its grand opening, the restaurant hosted a preview event this weekend, allowing guests to reserve a time slot and enjoy a complimentary meal. Our very own Mr. MoCo, Alex Tsironis, stopped by for an early taste ordering the Dynamite Shrimp Sustainable Protein Bowl and the Salmon & Swai Grilled Plate Combo with fire-roasted sweet corn and French fries.
“Both dishes were fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned,” Alex said, “the kind of meal that makes you feel like you’re getting restaurant-quality seafood in a fast-casual setting.” Menu options range from $9.99 for the Island Teriyaki Chicken Bowl to $17.99 for the Wild Ahi Tuna Plate, offering something for nearly every appetite and budget.
