The Salgado Family Christmas Display, created by siblings Pahan and Supuli Salgado, will open this year at a new location at Hope International Church, 15817 Barnesville Road in Boyds, MD. The grand opening will take place on Saturday, November 29, from 5:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., with the display open on select nights through January 1, 2026.
The display will operate from 5:30 to 9:00 p.m. on November 29 and 30 and December 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, 21, 24, 25, 27, 28, 31, and January 1. It will feature lights, themed sections, animatronic characters, inflatables, snow machines, live music, and photo opportunities with Santa and reindeer. Visitors can also enjoy free snacks and on-site parking.
According to the Salgado family, the move to Hope International Church was made to provide more space for visitors following their relocation from Germantown. The display is supported by family, friends, and volunteers from the church and surrounding community.
Dedicated to their late grandmothers Lolita and Susila, the display continues to collect non-perishable food donations for Manna Food Center, with designated boxes available at the site. The family invites residents to visit the display, which has become a long-running holiday tradition in Montgomery County.
