Casa Oaxaca, the Mexican restaurant that opened in the former TacoArepa space at 4905 Fairmont Ave. in spring 2019, has permanently closed.
A sign posted on the front door (seen below and sent in by Instagram user @lovinlucylu) thanks the community for its support over the past several years. It reads:

Casa Oaxaca became a go-to spot for Oaxacan dishes, margaritas, and a cozy neighborhood atmosphere just steps from Old Georgetown Road. No additional information has been shared about what may replace the space.
