Hangry Joe’s Hot Chicken is officially moving forward with its newest Montgomery County location. Last November, we shared that the fast-growing franchise planned to open at 13811 Outlet Drive in the Briggs Chaney Marketplace shopping center. The restaurant has now secured its permit to begin construction, bringing it one step closer to opening day.
The new location will take over the former Metro PCS space, situated between Mimi’s Perfect Nails and H&R Block, and could open as soon as early 2026.
This marks another step in Hangry Joe’s continued expansion across Montgomery County. The popular chain, known for its Nashville-style hot chicken sandwiches, tenders, wings, and chicken-and-waffles, already operates several locations throughout the county, including:
- Wheaton: 2533 Ennals Ave
- Rockville: 718-B Rockville Pike & 10050 Darnestown Rd.
- Montgomery Village: 19290 Montgomery Village Ave
- Germantown: 19730 Germantown Rd.
