The Rockville City Police Department (RCPD) is investigating an incident in which two individuals approached a woman in a parking lot on the 700 block of Hungerford Drive and stole her necklace. The incident occurred at approximately 4:19 p.m. on November 16, 2025, as the victim was getting into her vehicle.
According to RCPD, an unknown male and female approached the woman and attempted to pressure her into buying a gold necklace. When she declined, they stopped her from closing her car door and forcibly took her own necklace before fleeing in a newer model Kia Sportage.
The suspects are described as a Middle Eastern male and female. The male is believed to be about 6 feet tall, around 200 pounds, with a darker complexion. The female was described as having fair skin and wearing a pink shirt. Rockville Police ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the department.
