Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) 3rd District officers responded at 12:33 p.m. Monday to a reported shooting in the 11600 block of Lockwood Drive near White Oak.
Detectives are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident. According to a 2:20pm update, “The shooting victim on Lockwood Dr. is 16-years-old and has been transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. No suspect in custody at this time.”
The investigation remains active and ongoing, and police say additional information will be released as it becomes available.
