The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is investigating an armed carjacking that occurred Thursday afternoon in the 7700 block of Eastern Avenue in Takoma Park, where two suspects confronted a woman in a parking lot, displayed a gun, and stole her Mercedes C300.
The suspects arrived in a Toyota Highlander that was previously reported stolen, and police are asking anyone with information to contact Crime Solvers of Montgomery County.
According to MCPD, “The investigation has revealed that on the afternoon of Thursday, November 20, 2025, the victim drove her Mercedes C300 into a parking lot when she was confronted by two unknown Black male suspects. The victim saw the suspects enter the parking lot at the same time in another car. One of the suspects displayed a gun and demanded the victim’s keys.
The victim complied with the suspect’s demands and gave him her keys. The second suspect got in the victim’s car and drove away, while the first suspect drove away in the car he arrived in. The investigation revealed that Toyota Highlander the suspects arrived in was previously stolen in Prince George’s County.
The victim was not injured.
The suspects were described as a black male, 5’6”-5’8” tall, 160-170 lbs., slim build, in his late teens to early twenties, and a second black male 5’10”-6’ tall, 180-190 lbs., in his mid to late twenties.
