The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) are investigating a suspected murder-suicide in the 1100 block of University Blvd. West after a man who jumped from a high-rise and a woman found inside the building were both pronounced dead at the scene.
According to MCPD, “At approximately 12:54 p.m. on Wednesday, November 26, 2025, Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District officers and Fire Rescue personnel were dispatched to the 1100 block of University Blvd West for a person who reportedly jumped from an apartment building.
Upon arrival, first responders located the male who jumped from the high-rise apartment building. He was pronounced dead at the scene. A second person, a female, was found in a hallway, inside of the apartment building. MCFRS and officers administered aid, however, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Major Crimes Division, Homicide Section is investigating both deaths as a murder/suicide. Both bodies were taken to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner for autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. More information will be released when it becomes available, including the names of the decedents following proper notification of next of kin.
