Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to Great Falls Park on Friday afternoon after reports of an injured adult male on Trail A.
According to MCFRS spokesperson David Pazos, dispatchers received the call around 3:21 p.m., prompting the Swift Water Rescue Team to launch boats from Anglers Inn and send additional crews down the trail on foot. Rescuers located the man, who had suffered a non life threatening injury from a fall, and provided thermal blankets before guiding him back toward the Great Falls parking lot for evaluation and possible transport. The scene was stabilized and no additional injuries were reported.
