Rockville is gearing up for another bright and festive night as The Square prepares to host its annual Rockville Tree Lighting on Friday, December 5, 2025. The celebration runs from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at 36 Maryland Avenue (the area formerly known as Rockville Town Square), where the community will gather for an evening packed with music, entertainment, and holiday spirit.
This year’s lineup includes live performances by The Grandsons, Dawn Crofton Dance Connection, the Rockville High School Choir, and the Richard Montgomery High School Chorus. Families can snap photos with Santa, sip hot cocoa, browse local vendors, and soak in the winter magic as Rockville’s holiday tree comes to life.
The festivities will once again be hosted by our very own “Mr. MoCo” Alex Tsironis, who will guide the evening and lead the countdown to the big moment. Attendees are encouraged to bring donations for the Toys for Tots drive, offering a simple way to brighten the holidays for children across the region.
