Markoff’s Christmas Farm Opens for the Season

Markoff’s Christmas Farm is officially open for the 2025 holiday season, welcoming visitors to its magical Christmas Village and immersive Christmas Trail on select dates throughout late November and December. The family-run holiday destination in Dickerson is open November 29 and 30, and December 5, 6, 7, 12, and 13.

Guests do not need a trail ticket to experience the Christmas Village, which opens each day at 4 p.m. and is free for all to enjoy. The Village features Santa in his sleigh, festive games, a craft station, and a Christmas market showcasing 10 unique vendors offering handmade gifts, treats, and holiday décor. Visitors can also purchase fresh Christmas trees, enjoy seasonal food and drinks, and warm up beside massive bonfires as cheerful Christmas music fills the air.

According to Markoff’s, opening night perfectly captured the spirit of the season:

“Opening night at Markoff’s Christmas Farm was everything one could hope for and more! Family and friends were completely wrapped up in the Christmas spirit from the moment they arrived.

The incredible Christmas trail literally transports you into the classic carols, lights, music, and scenes that make you feel like you’re stepping straight into the songs we grew up with. Pure magic.

The Christmas Village, filled with delicious food, cozy seating areas, and those perfectly warm tiring fires where everyone gathers, laughs, and soaks in the holiday glow.

And of course, you can’t leave without exploring the beautiful Christmas Market—twinkling stalls, handmade gifts, ornaments, treats, and all the charming details that make holiday shopping feel special. It was the perfect start to the Christmas season, well done Markoff’s Christmas Farm!”

Markoff’s Christmas Farm is a continuation of the Markoff family’s long-running tradition of creating immersive community experiences. The celebration is rooted in the legacy of grandparents Mema and Dedo, whose love of gathering people together inspired what has now become a multigenerational effort involving 19 grandchildren. What started as small family gatherings has grown into a beloved Montgomery County holiday attraction.

The Markoff family is well known for Markoff’s Haunted Forest, one of the region’s most popular Halloween events, and brings that same creativity, craftsmanship, and event-planning expertise to its Christmas festivities. The result is a holiday retreat designed to spark joy, create memories, and offer a warm, welcoming place for families and friends to celebrate the season.
