Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a vehicle fire involving a box truck on northbound I-270 between Watkins Mill Road and Middlebrook Road in Gaithersburg on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, multiple units, including engines, a truck company, and a battalion chief, arrived on scene and reported lane blockages while firefighters worked to bring the incident under control.
