A 17-year-old student was arrested at Northwood High School on Friday morning after officers responding to a report of an altercation found a loaded, 3D-printed privately manufactured firearm in the student’s waistband.

The individual was charged as an adult with multiple firearm-related offenses, including possession of a handgun on school property.

According to MCPD, “On Friday, December 5, 2025, at approximately 8:23 a.m., officers were dispatched to Northwood High School, located in the 11200 block of Old Georgetown Road, for the report of a student with a gun.
