Annual MCPD Santa Ride Returns December 10, Making Stops Across Montgomery County

Santa Claus will once again team up with the Montgomery County Department of Police’s Centralized Traffic Section for the annual Santa Ride on Wednesday, December 10, 2025. The festive procession will travel across the county to collect toys and gifts for the Children’s Inn at the National Institutes of Health, spreading holiday cheer while supporting young patients and their families.

The ride will begin at 10 a.m. at the 5th District Police Station in Germantown, located at 20000 Aircraft Drive. From there, Santa and police officers will make several stops throughout Montgomery County, welcoming residents who wish to donate gifts for the Children’s Inn.

Community members can meet Santa and officers at the following scheduled stops:

  • Tractor Supply (Poolesville) – 10:20 to 10:35 a.m.
  • Weis Supermarket (Damascus) – 11:05 to 11:20 a.m.
  • Harris Teeter, Fair Hill Shopping Center (Olney) – 11:40 to 11:55 a.m.
