A traffic stop in White Oak late Monday night led to the arrest of a driver found with a handgun equipped with an extended magazine.
According to MCPD 3rd District Commander Jason Cokinos, Around 10:30 p.m. on December 8, officers from the 3rd District Holiday Crime Suppression Task Force conducted the stop at US 29 and Stewart Lane, safely taking the driver into custody without incident. Cokinos praised the officers for removing an illegally possessed firearm from the community.
