Brazilian Churrasco Steakhouse Terra Gaucha to Open This Month

Update: Terra Gaucha has pushed its opening date back to Sunday, December 28th. It had originally announced an opening date of Friday, December 19.
Terra Gaucha Brazilian Steakhouse, known for its authentic Southern Brazilian churrasco experience, has announced it will open at 1651 Chapman Ave in Rockville’s Twinbrook Quarter development, on Sunday, December 28th.

At Terra Gaucha, gaucho chefs roast and carve wood-fired picanha, ribeye, and other premium cuts of meat tableside, offering a true rodízio-style dining experience. Guests can complement the continuous tableside service with offerings from the restaurant’s Gourmet Hot & Cold Table, which features an extensive selection of salads, cheeses, charcuterie, Brazilian sides, and desserts such as the restaurant’s signature Papaya Cream.

Founded in Florida in 2015, Terra Gaucha is a Brazilian-owned steakhouse brand celebrated for its emphasis on quality, hospitality, and authenticity. Its Maryland debut in Rockville will mark the restaurant’s first location in the DC region.

“We are excited to introduce Terra Gaucha’s authentic flavors to Rockville, one of the nation’s leading small cities,” said Assistant Marketing Director Stephanie Rizzon. “With its welcoming atmosphere, dynamic diversity and discerning diners, selecting Rockville as our first Mid-Atlantic location was the clear choice. We are confident Terra Gaucha will quickly become a well-loved destination in town.”
