After more than a decade serving the Gaithersburg community, Ted’s Montana Grill has announced it will permanently close its Downtown Crown location next month, citing the end of its lease.
The restaurant shared the news in a message to the community, emphasizing that the closure is not a reflection of the staff or customer support it has received over the years. Ted’s thanked its team members for their dedication and hospitality, and expressed deep gratitude to the guests and broader Gaithersburg community who helped make the restaurant feel like home.
“Our closure in no way reflects the dedication and heart of our incredible team or the loyalty of the guests who welcomed us into their lives over the years,” the statement reads. “We are deeply grateful to our guests, the entire Gaithersburg community, and our passionate team members who brought Ted’s culture of hospitality to life.”
The restaurant invited the community to stop by one last time to share a meal or a toast before it closes its doors for good. The final day of business for Ted’s Montana Grill at Downtown Crown will be January 4, 2026.
