Mango Mango Dessert to Make Maryland Return in 2026

Mango Mango Dessert is making its return to Maryland and Montgomery County with an upcoming location planned for Congressional Plaza in Rockville.

The Asian dessert chain will be opening at 1617 Rockville Pike, taking over the space that was previously home to Custom Ink, next to Häagen-Dazs. An opening date has not yet been announced.

Mango Mango previously operated a Montgomery County location at Downtown Crown (202 Ellington Blvd.), where it had a roughly 1.5-year run from October 2019 until April 2021. That location opened just months before the COVID-19 pandemic and ultimately closed in spring 2021.

The dessert spot first launched in New York City’s Chinatown in 2013 and has since expanded to multiple locations across the U.S. Mango Mango is known for its Hong Kong-style sweet soup desserts, along with modern fusion sweets and pastries.

As the name suggests, mango plays a starring role across much of the menu, but the restaurant also offers a wide variety of non-mango desserts, making it accessible even for those who aren’t mango fans.

More details, including an opening timeline, are expected to be shared as the Rockville location moves closer to opening. The news of Mango Mango coming soon signage was first reported by @Pike.and.Rozay on Instagram.
