Police Release Identity of Pedestrian Killed on Georgia Avenue

Montgomery County police are investigating a fatal pedestrian collision that occurred on Friday, December 19,  in Silver Spring, where 69-year-old Theresa “Terri” Winona Nagle was struck by a 2017 Toyota Corolla while crossing the roadway and later died at a hospital. Detectives are also asking for the public’s help in locating Nagle’s next of kin as the investigation continues.

According to MCPD, “At approximately 6:10 a.m., 3rd District officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue responded to the 8100 block of Georgia Avenue, south of Silver Spring Avenue, for the report of a collision involving a 2017 Toyota Corolla and a pedestrian.

The initial investigation has revealed that Nagle was crossing Georgia Avenue when the driver of the Toyota struck her in the roadway. Nagle was transported to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead. This remains an active investigation.
