Delaware State Police have issued a Gold Alert for a missing 16-year-old from Gaithersburg, Maryland, who was last seen in northern Delaware.
According to Delaware State Police Troop 1, Nedea Grear, 16, was last seen on foot near Naamans Road and Society Drive in Claymont around 12:00 p.m. on December 30, 2025. Police say attempts to contact or locate Nedea have been unsuccessful, and there is concern for their safety and well-being.
Nedea is described as approximately 6 feet tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. They were last seen wearing a black hoodie, gray pants, black fur boots, and carrying a black bag.
A Gold Alert is issued when law enforcement believes a missing person may be at risk due to health, safety, or other concerning circumstances, and public assistance is needed to help locate them.
Anyone with information regarding Nedea Grear’s whereabouts is asked to contact Delaware State Police Troop 1 at (302) 761-6677.
