Slutty Vegan Is Coming to D.C. as Pinky Cole Announces Franchise Deal

Slutty Vegan is officially coming to Washington DC. Founder and restaurateur Pinky Cole announced on social media that a franchise agreement has been signed for a Slutty Vegan location in the District. The restaurant opened its first Maryland location in Baltimore in December 2024.

While the specific location and opening timeline have not yet been revealed, Cole confirmed that the DC expansion is moving forward and encouraged followers to share suggestions for where the restaurant should open next. This marks the brand’s first franchise, with the DC location owned and operated by Howard University graduate Brandi Forte.

“With so much heaviness happening in our family, I wanted to share some good news,” Cole wrote in her announcement, adding that “2026 is coming in HAWWWTTT.” She noted that the Slutty Vegan D.C. franchise is officially signed and directed fans to follow @sluttyvegand.c on Instagram for future updates.

Founded in Atlanta in 2018, Slutty Vegan quickly rose from a pop-up concept into one of the most recognizable plant-based restaurant brands in the country. Known for its bold branding, playful menu names, and indulgent vegan comfort food, the restaurant built a loyal following through social media buzz, long lines, and celebrity endorsements.

The menu features fully vegan burgers, sandwiches, fries, and shakes designed to appeal not only to vegans, but also to meat-eaters curious about plant-based alternatives. Popular items include stacked burgers topped with vegan cheese, bacon-style toppings, and signature sauces, all served in a high-energy, nightlife-inspired atmosphere.
