Olney Boys & Girls Club Announces New Under Armour Partnership

The Olney Boys & Girls Club (OBGC) announced a new partnership with Under Armour on Tuesday, naming the Baltimore-based brand as the exclusive uniform provider for the club’s travel sports programs.

In a statement shared this morning, OBGC said its leadership team and travel sports commissioners recently toured Under Armour’s headquarters, getting a firsthand look at the company’s innovation and approach to sports apparel.

“OBGC is proud to announce our new partnership with Under Armour to be the new exclusive uniform provider of our travel sports programs,” the organization wrote. “Our leadership team and travel sports commissioners had the opportunity to tour the impressive Under Armour headquarters and to see why Under Armour is a leader in regard to sports apparel and innovation.”

The partnership connects one of Montgomery County’s largest youth sports organizations with a global athletic brand that has deep local roots. Under Armour is headquartered in Baltimore and was founded by Montgomery County native Kevin Plank, making the collaboration a meaningful homegrown connection for the Olney-based club.

OBGC serves children of all ages through structured and safe sports programs that emphasize physical, social, and emotional development. The organization offers both recreational and competitive opportunities across a wide range of sports, with a mission focused on building confidence, self-esteem, leadership, and a lifelong interest in sports, health, and teamwork.

The club operates as an almost entirely volunteer-based organization, supported by participating families, local businesses, and trusted community partnerships. OBGC’s travel programs represent its highest level of competition, and the new uniform partnership is expected to elevate both the look and performance of its teams.
