Sardi’s is officially celebrating its arrival in Rockville with a grand opening event this Monday, January 12, and the community is invited to join the festivities.
The Peruvian-style chicken restaurant will host its official grand opening celebration at 10:30am at its new Rockville location, 5290 Randolph Road in Loehmann’s Plaza. The event will include a formal welcome from the City of Rockville, entertainment from students at Wheaton High School and Rockville High School, and swag bag giveaways for attendees. Sardi’s says it’s excited to introduce new neighbors to its signature chicken, house-made sauces, and Peruvian-inspired flavors.
While the grand opening celebration takes place this week, Sardi’s opened the Rockville restaurant in December. The location occupies a familiar space in Loehmann’s Plaza that most recently housed Toosso Pakistani Kitchen and, before that, Boston Market.
The Rockville restaurant marks Sardi’s fourth Montgomery County location, joining existing outposts in Gaithersburg, Olney, and Takoma Park, as the brand continues its expansion across the region.
