Tasty Nook Cafe, which opened in 2010 at at 1405 Research Boulevard in Rockville, will open a second location on Monday, January 12 inside the medical office building at 9800 Medical Center Drive.
The family-owned restaurant offers made-from-scratch Latin and American fusion breakfast and lunch dishes, including signature items like the Chicken Club, Pecan Banana Waffle, and gyros, and will be open weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
According to the restaurant, the business is led by Patricia Mejia, who brings extensive experience in restaurant management and kitchen operations. Her husband, William Mejia, serves as the cook, and their daughter, Adriana Mejia, will greet customers at the new café location.
