Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a house fire in the 2600 block of Sheraton Street off Randolph Road in Glenmont on Thursday, where a two-story single-family home was heavily involved in fire.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, at least five adults and three children have been displaced. More than 65 firefighters remained on scene working hotspots in freezing conditions, with a feels-like temperature of about 12 degrees, while EMS units provided warming and shelter.
