DARCARS Automotive Group continued its long running commitment to education and community engagement with a recent visit to Paint Branch High School, where more than 500 students gathered for a special assembly focused on leadership, accountability, and opportunity.
Berry Feiz, general manager of DARCARS Lexus of Silver Spring, spoke directly to students about his personal journey and the values that have guided both his career and his approach to giving back. In a conversation with us, Feiz said the experience has been deeply meaningful over the past five years.
“For the past five years, giving back to students has meant everything to me,” Feiz said. “I shared my personal journey to show students that hard work, integrity, accountability, and setting high standards truly matter. I wanted them to understand that when you take ownership of your future and stay committed, real opportunities open up. These are the same values I live by every day and the same values that align with DARCARS and the way we serve our community.”
DARCARS highlighted the visit on social media, noting that the event reaffirmed the company’s ongoing commitment to education and community support. During the assembly, Feiz shared his career path and encouraged students to pursue success through dedication, integrity, and personal responsibility.
MCPS described the visit as a powerful example of how partnerships with local businesses can reinforce workforce development and inspire students to think critically about their futures. The message delivered to students emphasized perseverance, ownership, and recognizing opportunities that come from sustained effort.
As part of the visit, Feiz presented a $3,000 check to Paint Branch High School to support student programs and school initiatives. In addition, 500 backpacks were distributed to students as a thank you for their participation and engagement.
This year’s event marked the fifth consecutive year that Feiz and DARCARS Lexus have visited Paint Branch High School, underscoring a sustained investment in empowering students and strengthening the surrounding community.
