Kako Claw will hold its grand opening on Friday, January 23 at Westfield Wheaton mall. It is located on the upper level, in the former Van’s space.
Kako Claw describes itself as a premium family entertainment destination focused on skill-based claw machine play. The arcade features modern machines stocked with a rotating selection of prizes, including plush toys, anime figures, collectible blind boxes, and keychains. Kako Claw also offers a trade-up program that allows players to exchange prizes toward a larger reward.
The company’s capybara mascot will be onsite this weekend.
Kako Claw currently operates DMV-area locations at Annapolis Mall in Annapolis, Arundel Mills in Hanover, Fair Oaks Mall in Fairfax, Springfield Town Center in Springfield, and has announced plans to open a location soon at Westfield Montgomery in Bethesda.
