12:06 Update: “MCPD officers have cleared Blair HS and MCPS is resuming regular instruction for the day.”
Montgomery County Police responded to a reported bomb threat at Montgomery Blair High School late this morning.
At approximately 10:24am, officers from the MCPD 3rd District were dispatched to the school. Montgomery County Public Schools evacuated the building as a precaution while officers began investigating the threat.
Just before 11:00am, police provided an update indicating the threat is being investigated as a swatting call. Officers remain on scene, and students are still evacuated at this time as the investigation continues.
