Germantown Native Darius Mosley Transfers to Norfolk State to Continue Football Career Under Head Coach Michael Vick

Darius Mosley is continuing his collegiate football career under head coach Michael Vick at Norfolk State University after transferring from Morgan State University, bringing Division I experience and size to the Spartans’ offensive line.

A 6-foot-7, 340-pound redshirt junior, Mosley is a Germantown native who was recruited to Morgan State out of Northwest High School, where he played tackle and emerged as a key presence along the offensive line. His size and physicality made him a notable prospect coming out of high school.

At Morgan State, Mosley appeared in multiple games and gained experience competing at the Division I level. He saw time at the tackle position, where he contributed in both pass protection and run blocking while continuing to develop his game against collegiate competition.

Mosley has also balanced athletics with academics. An engineering major, he earned placement on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll, reflecting his ability to manage the demands of coursework alongside football.

He joins Norfolk State during a transitional period for the program and will play under head football coach Michael Vick, with former NFL offensive lineman Elton Brown involved in offensive line development. Mosley brings experience, depth, and size to the Spartans as he prepares for the next phase of his career.

Mosley’s path from Northwest High School to Morgan State and now Norfolk State reflects a steady progression both on and off the field as he continues his development in Norfolk, Virginia.
