Jamaican-Style Soul Food Eatery Closes After Less Than a Year

FingerLicking SoulFood, a Jamaican-style restaurant that began as a food truck in Frederick County, has closed its location in the Westfield Wheaton Mall food court. The restaurant opened in this past July in the space previously occupied by Wiseguy Pizza.

The menu included Jamaican-style oxtails, blackened salmon, fried catfish, jumbo fried shrimp, pork chops, chicken wings, sandwiches, and sides such as butter beans, cornbread, mac and cheese, collard greens, green beans, and banana pudding.

Founded in 2015, FingerLicking SoulFood is “known for creating soulful meals with quality ingredients to give you comfort when you are alone or with family and friends. We take pride in our ability to create delicious southern dishes that all can enjoy…”
