Jewelry Store Targeted in Overnight Break-In

The Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD) is asking for the public’s help in identifying two suspects connected to a commercial burglary in Chevy Chase.

According to detectives from the department’s 2nd District Investigative Section, the burglary occurred on Sunday, January 25, 2026, at approximately 3:06 am at Town Jewelers, located at 7028 Wisconsin Avenue.

Police said two unknown suspects forced entry into the store, placed jewelry into a black bag, and fled the scene. Surveillance footage captured images of both individuals, which are now being released as part of the investigation. Suspect One is described as wearing dark clothing. Suspect Two is described as wearing a camouflage hooded jacket, red gloves, dark pants, and black shoes.
