Germantown Gym Begins $3.5 Million Renovation

Onelife Fitness has officially begun a $3.5 million investment to expand and renovate its Germantown location at 20500 Seneca Meadows Parkway.

Renovation work is scheduled to begin this month, with the club remaining open during construction. According to the company, disruptions to members are expected to be minimal while work is underway.

The project will add a second floor to the facility, increasing the club’s footprint by approximately 20,000SF . Once completed, the Germantown location will total about 56,000SF , representing an expansion of more than 55 percent.

Planned upgrades include new strength training areas, updated fitness studios, an expanded recovery studio, a larger kids club, a new outdoor workout area, and a refreshed lobby. The renovations are intended to modernize the facility and expand available amenities for members.

Ori Gorfine, CEO of Onelife Fitness, said the investment reflects the company’s commitment to maintaining and upgrading existing clubs while continuing to expand across the region. Onelife Fitness currently operates 32 locations throughout the DMV. In addition to the Germantown expansion, the company is developing new clubs in Ashburn and the Mosaic District in Virginia, as well as Annapolis and Box Hill in Maryland.
