Surveillance Video Released in Killing of 87-Year-Old Potomac Man

Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect connected to the shooting death of an 87-year-old man in Potomac.

The homicide occurred on the morning of February 14, 2026, at the Cogir Potomac Senior Living facility in the 10800 block of Potomac Tennis Lane, where Robert Fuller Jr. was found inside his apartment with a gunshot wound to the head.

Investigators obtained surveillance footage showing an individual on the property around the time of the shooting and believe the person may be connected to the case, though no clear description of the suspect’s gender or race is available. Police are asking anyone who recognizes the individual’s clothing, gait, or other distinguishing features to contact the Major Crimes Division at 240-773-5070 or submit a tip through Crime Solvers of Montgomery County. Tips may remain anonymous, and information leading to an arrest may be eligible for a reward ranging from $250 to $10,000.
