The Baked Bear at Pike & Rose is giving customers a sweet thank-you this Saturday with a free ice cream giveaway.
On Saturday, February 28, the shop will host a Customer Appreciation Day offering one free scoop of ice cream per customer, available from opening until 6pm. The location opens at 12pm and is located at 929 Rose Ave. The offer is valid for all in-store customers.
As part of the celebration, guests can also upgrade their free scoop into a full ice cream sandwich by paying the price of two cookies. The event runs until the sun goes down, or 6pm, and is expected to draw a steady crowd throughout the afternoon.
The Baked Bear is a popular stop within the Pike & Rose development and is best known for its fully customizable ice cream sandwiches. Customers can choose from a wide variety of fresh-baked cookies and brownies as their base, pair them with craft ice cream flavors, and add toppings to finish it off. One of the shop’s signature options is the “hot pressed” sandwich, where the cookies are warmed on the outside while the ice cream stays cold inside.
