Fontina Grille Remains Open in King Farm Until Planned Move in Fall

Fontina Grille at 801 Pleasant Drive is reminding guests that it remains open at its King Farm location as it prepares for a move this fall to The Laureate at Westside at Shady Grove. Restaurant officials said there has been some confusion among customers who believed the restaurant had already closed, but the current location continues to operate as usual.

“We’re not going far, just about a mile and a half down the road, and we’re excited to continue being part of the same wonderful community we’ve always served,” said owner Jad Maleab. “Our move to Westside at Shady Grove will allow us to grow, create new experiences, and keep welcoming both longtime guests and new neighbors.”

The Italian-American menu features appetizers such as crispy calamari, mussels in garlic and white wine, fried zucchini, crab cakes, meatballs in spicy sauce, crab and artichoke dip, bruschetta, eggplant rollatini, and mozzarella caprese. Salad options range from a traditional Caesar to entrée-style selections topped with salmon, flank steak, crab cake, rockfish, or ahi tuna. Pasta dishes include penne alla vodka, fettuccine alfredo, pesto penne, carbonara, and spaghetti and meatballs, along with baked classics like lasagna and eggplant parmigiana and additional steak, seafood, and chicken entrées.

Until the relocation, Maleab said the team hopes guests will continue dining at the King Farm restaurant. “Until then, we invite you to join us, celebrate with us, and make a few more memories at this location before we turn the page to our next chapter. We can’t wait to continue the journey with you, just a short drive away.”

The new location will include a private dining room and expanded outdoor seating designed for gatherings and special occasions.
