Potomac Oak Shopping Center in Potomac has been sold, according to a report from Maryland Newsletters.

Rockville-based retail developer Nellis Corporation purchased the center for $5.025 million, according to a deed recorded in Montgomery County land records. The property, located at the corner of Glen Road and Travilah Road, includes about 24,000 square feet of retail space on just over five acres. The shopping center was sold by a partnership headed by Guy Semmes, per the report.

Potomac Oak is home to several longtime tenants, including Bai Kao Thai, Domino’s and Potomac Cleaners, and serves as a small neighborhood retail hub for the surrounding community. The property also takes its name from one of the area’s most notable natural landmarks. The historic Travilah Oak, estimated to be around 330 years old, stands near the site and has long been a local point of interest in the Travilah and Potomac area.
