Seven Suspects Wanted in Connection to Wheaton Mall Restroom Stabbing

Detectives with the Montgomery County Department of Police are asking for the public’s help identifying several suspects connected to a first-degree assault that occurred February 4 at Wheaton Mall. Police said the incident happened at approximately 12 pm when the victim entered a restroom inside the mall.

According to investigators, the victim was approached by seven suspects armed with knives while inside the restroom. Police said the suspects assaulted the victim and stabbed him in the arm before leaving the scene. Authorities described the group as two Black juvenile males and five Hispanic juvenile males. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at a hospital.
