Takoma Park Police announced the arrest of a man accused of exposing himself and blocking the entrance to a business on University Boulevard.
According to police, officers responded at approximately 10:43am on March 9 to a report of indecent exposure in the 1300 block of University Blvd. When officers arrived, they observed the suspect, later identified as 48-year-old Kenton Carone Smith, who has no fixed address, standing in front of the Boost Mobile store.
The victim told officers that Smith was blocking the store’s entrance with his pants down, exposing his genitals to the public and preventing customers from entering the business.
Police said the victim provided an item of evidentiary value during the investigation. Smith was placed under arrest without incident and transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit, where he was charged accordingly.
