Wonder Food Hall is continuing its expansion across the region, with plans to open a location in Germantown.
The company will take over the former Jos. A. Bank space at 20936 Frederick Rd in Germantown’s Neelsville Village Center. The storefront had previously been slated to become an Amazon 4-star store before the company cancelled the concept nationwide prior to its opening.
Wonder combines food delivery, takeout, and dine-in service under one roof, offering menus from multiple well-known and chef-driven restaurant concepts. One of the central features of the model is that customers can order from several different restaurants within a single order.
The company describes its concept as providing lightning-fast delivery, takeout, and dine-in options from iconic restaurants, all in one place. Unlike traditional food halls where each vendor operates independently, Wonder operates centralized kitchens and partners with established restaurant brands and chefs to recreate their menus. Each location functions as both a dine-in destination and a delivery hub serving the surrounding community.
The Germantown location will follow Wonder’s first Montgomery County site, which is set to open at 12240 Rockville Pike in Rockville this spring. That location will take over the space previously occupied by Stephen Anthony Salon in Towne Plaza, next to the recently opened California Fish Grill.
