The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) announced that a Ride On bus stop on eastbound Wayne Avenue between Fenton Street and Cedar Street in Silver Spring (Stop ID 27061) will be closed starting Tuesday, March 24 for approximately two weeks due to sidewalk construction.
During this time, the stop will not serve Ride On routes 12 (Silver Spring–Potomac) and 15 (Silver Spring–Langley Park).
MCDOT advises riders to use nearby alternate stops at Wayne Avenue and Fenton Street (Stop ID 27060) or Wayne Avenue and Cedar Street (Stop ID 27062). Riders are encouraged to check real-time bus information using the Ride On Trip Planner app or online tools for the latest updates during the construction period.
