The Rockville City Police Department is investigating a stabbing that occurred Tuesday, March 25, at approximately 8:32 pm in the 400 block of Redland Boulevard.
Officers responded to reports of a stabbing and located a juvenile victim suffering from a non-life-threatening stab wound.
The victim was provided medical assistance at the scene and transported to a local hospital for further treatment. A 13-year-old juvenile suspect has been taken into custody in connection with the incident and is facing charges including attempted murder, first- and second-degree assault, and weapons-related offenses.
Police are continuing to search for a second juvenile suspect who remains at large. Investigators have identified the individual and are actively working to locate him following an extensive overnight search.
