$135M in Upgrades Unveiled at Camden Yards on Orioles Opening Day

Governor Wes Moore joined state officials and Baltimore Orioles representatives on Thursday (Opening Day) to announce the completion of $135 million in upgrades at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, marking the largest renovation to the stadium since it opened in 1992.

The project, funded by the State of Maryland and managed by the Maryland Stadium Authority, includes a new larger video board, upgraded sound system, renovated club level spaces, a new premium seating area, and additional infrastructure improvements.

The upgrades are part of a multi-phase effort tied to a long-term lease agreement that will keep the Orioles at Camden Yards for at least 30 years and allow for up to $600 million in total improvements. Additional enhancements, including a new right field social space, are currently underway, with future phases expected to begin after the 2026 season.
