Maryland Attorney General Anthony G. Brown announced that the State has reached a settlement in principle with Grace Ocean Private Limited and Synergy Marine Pte Ltd., the owner and operator of the cargo ship M/V Dali, resolving part of the State’s claims stemming from the ship’s March 26, 2024 allision with the Francis Scott Key Bridge.

Governor Wes Moore joined state officials and Baltimore Orioles representatives on Thursday (Opening Day) to announce the completion of $135 million in upgrades at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, marking the largest renovation to the stadium since it opened in 1992.

The Montgomery County Department of Police Major Crimes Division has arrested Maurquise Emillo James, 22, in connection with the fatal shooting of Robert Fuller Jr., 87, at Cogir Potomac Senior Living. James, a Baltimore resident and employee at the facility, was arrested on February 24, 2026, and charged with first-degree murder.

The incident occurred on February 14, when officers and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service personnel responded to a reported medical emergency and found Fuller unresponsive in his apartment. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner later ruled his death a homicide caused by a gunshot wound.


A suspect wanted for shooting at a Maryland State Trooper during a traffic stop early yesterday morning in Baltimore was apprehended in Montgomery County and charged with attempted murder, per Maryland State Police.

A popular Baltimore brunch concept is officially headed to downtown Silver Spring. Central Apartments at 8455 Fenton Street announced last week that Easy Like Sunday is coming soon to the building’s ground-floor retail space. According to Source of the Spring, the restaurant will take over the space previously occupied by El Sapo.
