White House Black Market to Permanently Close in Rio

White House Black Market at 129 Boardwalk Place in Gaithersburg is set to permanently close on Thursday, April 23. The store is currently offering discounts of up to 60 percent on merchandise ahead of its closure.

According to the company, White House Black Market is a women’s clothing retailer known for its modern, polished styles, often centered around black-and-white palettes with seasonal color accents. The brand offers a range of apparel including dresses, workwear, and accessories designed for both professional and everyday wear.

The closure comes amid several recent changes at Rio. Fine Wine has closed, along with Bluemercury. Mason’s Famous Lobster Rolls has also been closed for over a month and is listed as permanently closed online.

Meanwhile, signage is now up for J.Crew Factory, which is taking over the former Fine Wine space at 20 Grand Corner Avenue.
