The Montgomery County Department of Police (MCPD) has released body-worn camera footage from an officer-involved shooting that occurred on March 24, 2026, in Montgomery Village.
The video shows the moments leading up to the incident, during which a suspect fired at an officer, who then returned fire and struck the suspect.
The suspect, identified as 27-year-old Andre Duvall of Germantown, has been charged with multiple offenses, including attempted first-degree murder, and is being held without bond. No officers or bystanders were injured.
Police said the footage is being released as part of the department’s commitment to transparency.
