Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber Prepares Major Rebrand

The Gaithersburg-Germantown Chamber of Commerce is preparing to enter a new chapter, with plans to unveil a new name and brand identity later this month as part of a broader effort to reflect the evolving Upcounty business community.

The organization announced it will officially reveal its new branding on April 17 at BlackRock Center for the Arts in Germantown, with festivities beginning at 7pm. The event will include a Casino Night-themed celebration featuring games, prizes, music, and dancing.

The rebrand marks a significant milestone for the chamber, following a year-long strategic planning process shaped by feedback from its membership. Leaders say the updated identity is designed to better reflect the organization’s role in supporting a growing and increasingly diverse regional business landscape.

A key focus of the transformation is a broader geographic scope. While the chamber has long represented Gaithersburg and Germantown, the refreshed brand will more intentionally include businesses in Clarksburg and Damascus as part of its core mission.

Leadership says the new identity is meant to signal both growth and inclusivity, as well as a forward-looking approach to economic development in Upcounty Montgomery County.

The event will serve as both an official unveiling and a celebration of that transition, bringing together members and the wider business community to mark the next phase of the organization’s evolution. More details, including the new name and logo, are expected to be revealed during the April 17 event.
