Business Insider’s “Best Sandwich Shop in Maryland” Reopens in New Location

Full On Craft Eats & Drink has officially opened its new Rockville location, completing its move from its longtime home on Norbeck Road.

The locally popular sandwich shop is now operating at 5566 Norbeck Road in the Rock Creek Village Center, taking over the former Creek Lodge Bar & Grill space. The restaurant announced the opening today, thanking customers for their support and asking for patience as the team adjusts to the larger space.

“Thank you for all the love and support as we open our new location – our team is working hard and learning,” the restaurant shared. “There are kinks to iron out in a bigger space and we’re figuring some of this out.”

The move comes after Full On closed its original location at 4007 Norbeck Road in February to begin the transition. Known for its high-end sandwiches made with in-house roasted meats, homemade sauces, and scratch-made sides, the restaurant has built a strong following in the area. Its commitment to quality ingredients and from-scratch cooking helped earn it recognition from Business Insider as the best sandwich shop in Maryland based on Yelp reviews.

With more space at the new Rock Creek Village Center location, Full On now has room to continue expanding its offerings, which also include a rotating selection of regional beer and wine. As the team settles into the new space, customers can expect the same menu and approach that made the original location a local favorite, now in a larger setting.
