A new Pakistani street food spot is making its debut in Rockville this weekend. Desi Cravingz is hosting its soft opening on Friday, April 3rd and Saturday, April 4th from 4pm-8pm at 200 N Washington Street. The concept will focus on bold, flavorful street eats, with a limited menu available during the opening weekend.
The initial menu centers around burgers with a desi twist, including options like “The Desi Patty,” a marinated beef burger topped with chutneys, onions, and tomatoes, and Bun Kabob sandwiches featuring spiced beef or lentil-potato patties paired with egg and green chutney. Sides include masala fries and a dish called “Desi Mac Attack,” combining chicken with a creamy red sauce and macaroni.
Drinks such as chai, soda, and specialty Salaam sodas will also be available. The restaurant notes that quantities will be limited during the soft opening. Customers who show they follow the business on social media can receive 10% off an item during the opening weekend.
